I am mostly interested in the "Big explanatory dictionary of Russian language, S.A. Kuznetsov" (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...&postcount=701) and any Sp-En or Sp-Ru dictionary.
My ru-en dict. which I installed from here, sometimes does it, sometimes not. It does not recognize at all in the context words such as "пролежавший"...."обещавший"..."глядящий"...no t even gives a hint of their roots. But it recognizes дребезжащий
The same issue with the de-ru...some words does it, some not.
So, I admit, it depends on the dict. itself..i.e. its wordcount or how it was styled/designed for such auto-translations.
With the most European languages, dict-s that are here available, work fine.
Maybe the converting profis here can bring some light on the issue....
