What year is this, again?
Un-freaking-believable.
I have this woman, referred to me by another customer, who thinks she's writing children's books. She's not, mind you--she's writing a set of instructions for parents to communicate with kids, using the written materials as a method to get through to them, but whatever.
I ask her to send me the file in quesiton--right?
And what shows up? Some DOCX file with, wait for it--the ENTIRE TEXT OF THE GODDAMNED BOOK AS THE FILENAME. What? What universe is it, that someone can't even manage a simple filenaming?
I tell her what she's done and wait for it, first, she forwards me two emails that we've already exchanged and OMG, sends me the same S**T again!
Of course, by now, I've intuited that she's using GDocs--don't get me started with my name for that "last refuge of the XXXXXX," because I'll manage to offend someone--but at what point in ignorance is it okay to waste someone else's time, when you can't do something as basic as transmit a goddamn file?
