I had Settings 'Automatically go to Sleep' after 10 minutes and "Automatically Power-Off' Never. I've changed 'Automatically Power-Off' to 15 minutes and the device has stopped fully discharging overnight. It's now been running on the same charge for 6 days and is at 62%.
It is kind of annoying to have to Power on every time I use it, but it was also annoying to have to charge the thing every day. But I really can't see any way to pleasantly combine my sleeping habits with Kobo's prominent On/Off button. Wish they'd recess it instead.

Still having the same issue, ok to 50% then faster to 40% then after 28% it drops like a stone.This is after letting the battery drop out and recharge a few times. I have had the kobo for 30 months now and am a heavy user. I will try your power-off trick and see if the makes a difference. On another note, if anyone is interested I decided to do a manual reset today to see if that would make a difference.
When the reset was complete, and updates done I had the same problem as I posted in another thread in that I couldn't reset my reading activity to nil because the choice to "automatically share data about the features you use" was not there again, just as I posted last year. Many thanks again the geek1011 who at that time gave me a piece of code to install on the Clara. It worked again.
