No need for a video. My problem is that you hadn't explained this well enough for me to understand what was going on. But, reading your posts knowing it happens automatically a little after the device starts explains a lot of what you have said.
So, it just reboots after a period of time? How long? Is it consistent? This started after adding new books. Was there anything unusual about those books? Is it possible there were any errors in the books?
As it gets to the home screen, does everything normally on the home screen get displayed properly? That is the covers for the four books across the top, the three covers for "My Books" and the covers for whatever is in the middle-right tile. There are some issues when importing books that can cause it to reboot. But, that shouldn't happen after the reboot. But, the device generates cover images when needed, and for the "My Books" tile it uses three of the most recently opened books. If that is causing problems, it could explain the reboot.
Have you tried to interrupt the cycle by powering off before the reboot is triggered? As soon as the home screen is shown, hold the power button down until it powers off. It should take somewhere between five and ten seconds. If that works, it should show the powered-off screen. Then turn it on and see what happens. I don't really expect it to solve the problem, but, sometimes interrupting these cycles can help.
Having said all that, I think the only thing you can do is a full factory reset. I can't think of a way to stop the reboot. If you could get to the drive, you might be able to do some cleanup or something, but, it doesn't look like you can. The instructions are on
https://help.kobo.com/hc/en-us/artic...or-Kobo-Elipsa. If that works, I would try a few books to check. I wouldn't try any of the books you added just before this happened in the first batch. The idea is to check it is working. But, I probably would try them early so that I can see if they are the cause of the problem while you don't have many other things on the device. That makes recovering relatively easy.
