Although it took me a while to set up my laptop it wasn't as bad as it once used to be. When you needed to reinstall Windows semi-regularly (can't remember the last time I needed to do that) and you had to sit behind the computer most of the day with a huge stack of cd-roms/dvds to install all your programs. You constantly had to switch the discs, especially for games. Last night I just had to download the software and install it. I was able to watch a movie doing this without missing anything.
It also seems I can now make do with a lot less programs and apps. I've only installed one game, others will be added when I feel like playing them.
