1) The apostrophes show up fine for me. For example here: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/reg...-question-mark

2) Open the EPUB version of the manual and increase the fonts size and use the viewer settings to control maximum text width

3) I'm afraid I have no interest in this

4) there is an epub version available convert it in calibre to docx and edit it in libreoffice to your hearts content.
