What's funny is that I never noticed it until I did the font comparisons between the old firmware and the new firmware.

Just a guess, but I'm wondering if the Nook development team decided to maintain only one firmware branch for their GlowLights and chose the GlowLight Plus (7.8") — figuring the choices they made for font sizes for its larger screen would scale down correctly to the smaller screen.

As I say, just a guess. But now that I know what my fonts should be like on the newer firmware, this is even more frustrating than it was before. I'm going to try sending another support request and send the comparison pictures. Also I'm going to ask about hyphenation. I have no idea why that would go away.
