I was excited when I first heard about Kobo's partnership with Walmart a few years ago but unfortunately, it hasn't gone anywhere. You can find Kobo devices on Walmart.com but I've never seen one at any physical Walmart store. No signs or promotions for it in stores either.

A shame because Walmart could get them much needed exposure in the US market.
