No, turn off the device normally. Then only hold the button with the red arrow in the guide down and keep holding it while plugging in the usb cable that's already attached to the pc end. You don't use the power button at all once the device is off. You don't want to go into the bios (which is recovery by the way). Then the pc will see it. Let us know how it goes.
