I've had similar problems with my Libra 2, including being kicked back to the "Choose your language" setup screen. I'm on the latest firmware, as well. I suspect it's a general software / firmware problem, and not that either of us have a bad unit.

By the way, I get the "scan and fix" error every time I plug in either my Kobo Clara HD or my Kobo Libra 2; no errors are ever found.
