I like the functionality and user interface, and the book recommendations are good, so I'll probably pay to help keep the site alive, even though all the features I'm interested in are available in the free version so far.

I have been a very vocal supporter of TSG (as in my sig) here since joining as one of the "Early Bird" paid members back in October 2020, before the site went fully live. Like Bitwarden, TSG is one of those ideas that I'm happy to support with my wallet even if the free version is adequate. I am very happy to pay for an ad-free site and I love that all the "social" features are strictly opt-in. My first year of paid membership expires in March and I've already bought my next 12 month membership. Great to see it getting more positive press here. I'm not sure I'm quite ready to come out of my hermit hole and join a buddy read yet, but I do like the implementation of the idea.
