No, I wasn't using a shortcut all the time, sometimes I would use the context restart, and sometimes I would close out using the corner "x".

I don't know what ended up stopping it, but I even did a welcome wizard and it still went into debug mode. It finally stopped, but I don't know the specifics on why it was giving me a hard time. Never happened like that before.

Could it possibly have to do with the inability to immediately access the log? Perhaps there could be a way of holding off on displaying the log for 10 seconds or so?

I never actually ended up testing the plugin in debug mode that I was trying. It was the Overdrive, so I wasn't doing anything specific that I was doing in debug mode.
