A few months ago, there was this page about the latest update, and things to come:

On Home, access more (up to 20) of your recently read books with a left swipe.

Wonder what is taking them so long?
I’m not sure they can improve Home enough that I would actually use it, but as to Library improvements:
- maybe there will be a Compact Sort option that will show more items per page
- maybe there will be filter options for Started and Not Started
- maybe they are finally going to make Collections behave like they do in the mobile apps (which I am guessing would be ‘controversial’ but I would be in favor of)
Of course there are any number of other features I would like them to surprise us with, in order of decreasing expectation:
- Author grouping is long overdue
- Some implementation of Immersion Reading (at least play the companion audiobook when viewing text and synchronizing page turns)
- TTS with support for more languages/voices (optional downloads as on Fire tablet), or at least VoiceView support for more languages/voices
Shall we start a pool on when the promised update will finally show up, with extra credit for guessing previously unannounced features?
