That's how I do it, because I don't keep any personal stuff in c:\users\hobnail or c:\documents except settings and whatnot that apps create. (I put my personal stuff in \home\hobnail.) Then there's no need for me to worry about migrating my c:\users or c:\documents stuff when I upgrade or replace my system since I know to make a backup copy of \home before I do the upgrade/replace. Of course I lose all of my app settings, but whatever.
