Best file format and method to transfer to Kindle
I mostly get books in ePub extensions and then I use Calibre to convert them to either MOBI/AZW/AZW3/?.
Unlike before I am now very aware that all of them are very different and effects how it display on Kindle as some extension would enable me to show book cover while others do not and some would lose advance formatting on the ebook that effect the reading experience dramatically.
Another thing is AFAIK I can not send AZW3 from Send To Kindle app (Kindle Cloud storage) so there is a concern about that, also if I do not store those ebooks in the cloud the higlights/annotations will not be synced.
I can give up highlights/annotations sync, as I am planning to switch to Kobo perhaps. But until then I want figure out what's the best format MOBI/AZW/AZW3 and the method to send to Kindle.
Once and for all I want to figure this thing out considering my priority is:
1. Enable advance formatting as much as possible
2. Show book cover
