When you say premium, all you really mean is overpriced. You don't buy a Reader these days based on plastic or metal. You buy a Reader based on the software and what it can do.

But I do have to agree that for PDF, a tablet such as an iPad is a lot better for PDF then a Reader unless you want to get a 13.3" Reader. But given the price, an iPad is a much better value.
