It's not possible to put the genie back into the bottle! The code is out there and is not going to vanish. But it's no longer easily obtainable by everyone with a single click of the mouse. The situation will be more in keeping with what usually happens with software of this type. Those who want to be able to de-drm LCP will need to search for what they want and perhaps have a little knowledge. It is no longer trivial. Most won't bother and it will be beyond many. Right now an appropriate Google amongst other methods reveals many possibilities.

To me LCP is no big deal. I remain unaffected. I don't like DRM. I don't want to see an additional widespeard system including LCP. On the other hand, I find it hard to get too perturbed about a system which is overwhelmingly used to protect library books, at least so far.
