Oh dear, I didn’t realize that Sharon had had cancer; I hope she’s feeling better. I really don’t mean to sound ungrateful

Given their age, and how much I enjoy retirement, I actually consider everything they publish to be an unexpected gift.
Also, I’ve noticed that there’s usually quite a lag between when they submit books, and the release date. So publication seems to have its own set of processes to work through. I guess that’s why eARCs are popular. I’ve never read one, for fear that the story will change, but it’s very tempting.
