That *could* be it on the left edge near the screw. Is there nothing else on the board?
Do you have a resistor between 100 ohms and 10k? Do you have a voltmeter?
Chances are you probably can't do damage shorting those two points, but I prefer to act conservatively and short things with a resistor when I'm not sure.
