The main problem is that the firmware version is more important than the hardware with respect to running kindlets. Nothing running fw version >= 5.9 can run kindlets no matter how old the hardware is. There are, of course, hardware models that have never run anything less than 5.9

I get the impression that the README hasn't been updated in a while as it doesn't mention any devices after KOA2? Regardless of that, KT4 was released after all the devices mentioned in that file so yeah, use the booklet variant.
