I've had some issues using my Sony 505 with my Mac. I also have a Windows machine on which I've installed Calibre. Here are my issues.

1) My Sony Reader is not recognized when I try to send file (DRM) to the Reader.

2) Am I right in thinking that Calibre can be used as stand alone software. I've not installed Sony software as I've left the disk at work, doh!
