Backed them up to my computer. Kindle account only keeps the last 7 issues.

Kindle Support says that they can only be read (periodicals) on the Kindle that they were originally downloaded to. They say that is what the publishers want.

They did not take into consideration that Kindles break or that one may want to purchase a Kindle 2.

I have been round and round with them on the subject and they sympathize but customer support is not in control.

I would like to find out out to change the PID or serial # embedded in the file.

After all I did buy and pay for them.
