I was just comparing the Sage to the Forma (I own both). The main difference for me is the screen, which has noticeably better resolution and clarity on the Sage. While this difference is minor, and might not even be noticed without a careful comparison, it is very important if one is going to spend hours reading the device every day. It is especially important for dark mode, which is built into the OS of the Sage and can be added to the Forma. Dark mode is 100% better on the Sage. I don't use the Sage for writing things or marking up pdf's (it's too small), but for reading it's by far the best e-reader I have seen.
