How did you "archive" them. Are they still available in your media account or did you only back them up to your own hard drive? Since you are allowed to read periodicals on one Kindle at a time, you should be able to deauthorize your old Kindle and be able to access your media when you authorize the new Kindle.

Have you called support to ask them how this works (or does not work) with periodicals? I know it works with books, but since I don't subscribe to magazines or newspapers, I'm not certain how it would work in that case.
