Calibre not saving Books in Correct Format

Hi,

I am a long time Calibre user, and have just bought a new Amazon Fire HD 10 11th Generation tablet.

I am attempting to get Calibre to send books to the device using a specific template :-

{author_sort:'uppercase(substr($,0,1))'}/{author_sort:sublist(0,1,&)}/{series}/{series_index:0>2|[|] }{title}

however all books are being saved in the root folder in {title} - {author} format.

My preferred method of sending books is using Wireless Device Connection via Calibre Companion.

I have also tried the Content Server & Cloud Connection - only Content Server saves books using the template on this device.

However, I also have audiobooks in mp3 format managed in Calibre. I can send mp3 format when using Wireless / Cloud Connection but cannot send them using the Content Server and the Choose Format dialog does not include the mp3 format.

I also use a OnePlus 5T phone and an Onyx Boox Poke3 eInk reader - and sending books to these devices works perfectly using my preferred method.

tl;dr - I cannot save books to a new Amazon Fire HD 10 with a custom file name template, but the same template works fine on other devices.

Any help resolving this issue would be very welcome!
