I am not sure what all that means or how to resolve this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I think the key there is the out of memory error and that you are currently running the Windows 32 bit version. If you running Windows x64, I would suggest upgrading calibre to it's 64 bit version which can allow use of more memory.
