New York Review Books small issue

I've customized the standard NYRB recipe to be able to download back issues.

In some cases, one or two separate articles won't be included in those issues.
Here are two examples:
https://www.nybooks.com/issues/1991/12/05/
https://www.nybooks.com/articles/199...f-joseph-roth/

https://www.nybooks.com/issues/1990/04/26/
https://www.nybooks.com/articles/199...ed-insecurity/

Those articles will show up in the downloaded issue as a 2 page article containing only the longish list of books reviewed, not the text of the article itself.

What the two articles have in common is that they discuss far more than the average number of books for a single review; and this list is only optionally displayed on the page of the website, with a "see all/see less" option. I suspect this is what throws the recipe off track.

I've noticed it with these two back issues, I'm not sure if it also happens with the regular recipe just downloading the latest issue.

In any case, is there a way to remedy this?
Just wondering.

MTIA.
