I'm not denying that they were telling the truth about it not being available, but what I was asking was why? Had to call them to get an answer - Publisher had not yet uploaded, they would contact the publisher & get back to me. That's a fine answer, why wasn't it offered in the first email?

True, but this issue was mailed by the publisher, so they knew it was available.
