If you aren't going to immediately shut down the PC you can run it in parallel for a short time to make sure the new install works the way you want. I migrated to a new PC not too long ago, moving the libraries is no big deal, I just copied over the library folders and pointed the newly installed calibre to them. The thing that took some work was making sure I had the correct versions of Kindle, ADE, etc. to work with my "tools". My migration caused me to upgrade Calibre to 5.x so a bunch of my other plugins had to be reinstalled and configured. Overall it wasn't bad, although I am in no hurry to upgrade to Windows 11 since every currently works the way I want.
