Look at your post and in the bottom right hand corner is an "Edit" button and a "Quote" button. (In other people's posts' there will be only be a button saying "Quote" in that position)
Just click that edit button and the post is opened in the editor for you.
Edit: the edit button will not be available until you have posted a few times to the forum. This is a bid to stop spammers.
