PS--- Can I recommend, if you prefer to work using Sans-Serif fonts, to try a "coder's" monospace --- the best ones make a clear difference between Zero and Uppercase O; between numeral One and Uppercase I and Lowercase L, etc. etc.
I use Monaco, an old font that has poor unicode support, just because I am used to it, but I have tried and liked PT Mono (Para Type) and Source Code Pro, because they have the curvy lowercase L (obvious difference to One or I) ---- both are SIL Open Font License, and available for free download on many sites.
