I hope you're right and that the problem goes away. I can avoid the problem by swiping rather than touching, but it doesn't feel normal to do that and sometimes I touch without thinking.

I share your dislike of returning devices, and especially this one, which is otherwise the best e-reader I've ever owned, and that's saying a lot because I've owned a lot of them. Especially nice is the long-lived battery.
