This program is not a viewer for pure text file. In essence, it only supports a special pdb format which is encoded in Big5. So, only traditional Chinese glyphs is supported.
It should work on iLiad of both Europe and China version, as long as users install proper font file in their iLiad.
For people who want to read simplified glyphs, FBReader should be a better choice. Because FBReader is more robust. It is meaningless for this program to support simplified glyphs, since simplified Chinese glyphs are always horizontally arranged and this program is dedicated to display glyphs vertically.
