I understand how to patch Kobos, I just lost the desire to do it. Too many upgrades, too much tweaking. I want to use my readers for reading, not patching. Besides, most of the patches I cared about were incorporated into the official Kobo software anyhow.
Same goes for tweaking Android readers. It's nice that it can be done (looks like it can be done easily with the Nooks), I just (personally) don't have any interest in doing it — that's why I don't have any interest in the Android eInk tablets/readers.
Now, if I could just get B&N to add that one font size (between positions 3 & 4) the GL3 would probably be my favorite reader.
