I’ve never noticed before, but what format are Kobo’s audio books in? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was proprietary in some way. Apple uses .m4b for its audio books. If you convert a mp3 audiobook to an m4a file, then rename it to m4b, suddenly it behaves like an official audio book. I’ll have to search the forum to see what others have done.
