Are the ACSM files you tested from books you bought in the past and already added to ADE? Then gbm is correct and that would be the explaination as for why it doesn't work.

Or are you testing with a freshly bought book that you haven't linked to your other AdobeID / ADE install yet, and it still doesn't work?

Not the OP, but I am having a similar issue where Calibre just imports the .acsm as is, without "converting" it. I am using ADE 2.0.1 normally but that is registered without an ID, whereas I put the Adobe ID into the plugin's info.

I tried with a new .acsm file (realized the old one had been opened in ADE already) and that got turned into an .epub but I can't do anything with the file. Can't open it, can't convert, it's like a dead stone.
