First impressions:
The GL 4 looks a lot like the GL 3 of a few years back, with a few subtle differences. I had gotten used to tapping the screen to turn pages, but I like the buttons! The warm/cold light seems easy to adjust.
This device is light and easy to hold. Text looks good.
For all you rooters out there, there's no obvious way to activate developer settings as there was with the GL 3. I've tapped everything tappable! In fact, if you start tapping "App Version" repeatedly, a window pops up asking you if you want to do a full sync of your Nook!
I like the fact that there's a USB-C port. That helps me streamline my cord collection!
I'm liking this device thus far.
Edit: Is B&N up to their old tricks of partitioning free space? When I connected the GL4 to my Mac, it came up as a Nook drive with 5.36 GB of storage... Not liking this...
