Now that we've derailed the thread...
If your Kobo is still an off-line only device now, you should be certain to make a back up of the Dictionaries. they are found in the /.kobo/dict folder of the device. It is very easy to delete them by accident. (They can be downloaded manually if you know the URL, if necessary.)
