Okay next time you have to cut something out of a piece of paper, I demand you don't do that.

I demand you take a photocopy of it, and then cut it out of that piece of paper. |

When cutting out a piece of cake, you must first make a duplicate cake.
Then cut a piece of THAT cake, just in case you disturb the original.

Oh, and please: when you're using a spreadsheet, you must copy the figure, paste it, and delete the first figure.

I refer you again to point 2 in my originating post:
The copy-paste-delete method actually creates MORE risk of losing data or leaving behind unwanted data.
