Traditionally, Am is correct. But the genre has expanded exponentially (I do adore allliteration, *grin*) in recent years. You have cat mysteries, cooking mysteries, needlework mysteries, knitting mysteries, scrapbooking mysteries... Here's the link to that Google Notebook list of authors. This plus a good Amazon search should give you an idea of what I mean when I use the term. Ignore my personal notes on some items..or get a good laugh out of them, either one .
