I find it is much easier to rest my thumb on the page turn buttons and gently squeeze without moving my hand or reaching to touch the screen to tap.

As an aside, when I was younger, before ereaders, I always envied those who could hold and turn the pages of their paperback with one hand (thumb action). I never figured out how they did it.
