Do you know anyone through gaming or other online activities that you would trust enough to get one and send to you and just reimburse them or send them the money up front? I did that a couple of times back when Sony stupidly made the dark blue PRS-350 available in Europe only and I wanted one soooo bad.
A friend in Denmark got one and shipped it, 2nd time someone in Canada whose boyfriend was in England did it. It's probably cheaper than going through a company you don't know. But that depends on how many years you've known such online people and the level of trust both ways. But it worked out great for me when I found several used blue readers but they wouldn't ship to the US. Even though those readers are now old, I wouldn't part with them for anything.
