Perhaps spouses get way overwrought and overthink everything?
Our last move was fun that way since the moving company's estimators came in, checked all our furniture and packed up household goods and promptly sent a truck that would not come close to being able to hold everything. We ended up in a lovely conversation where we were refusing to pay over double the cost quoted to cover their screwup and they were trying to claim that it was our fault their guys misjudged the space needed for the move. I hate to think what would have happened if we'd been moving more than 5 km which would have made the second trip more of a pain.
