What battery drain problem? I used to get ~20 hours of reading from my Forma while the Sage gives me ~15 hours. If and when I start making heavy use of the stylus, I will likely notice a severe drop in the battery life since all 4 cores will be very busy given that handwriting recognition tends to be CPU intensive.

Since 15 hours is at least 12 books and I would be connecting to my computer to sideload more books before the battery went dead, I actually had to load a few extra books in the batches I used to test that 15 hours battery life.

As for the weight, I really don't notice that much difference in the weight between the Forma and Sage in their cases unless I pay attention to the weight (the Forma & case is 329g while the Sage & case are 399g), the weight without the case is 197g and 241g respectively which pretty much matches Kobo's specs. Now if they had shaved a gram or so off the Sage case by exposing the power button...
