I can see @davidfor's point, consistency as to device nomenclature makes sense.
It's easier for people to follow the flow, without trying to work out the device in question; and it's definitely easier for search functions, and for those unfamiliar with all the variations that a device can be known by in mobileread.
I've read in these various pages about the KA1 and thought the poster must have been referring to a kindle device, and they were comparing a kindle to a kobo, but they actually referred to the Kobo aura
And as I don't have, nor was interested in the libra h2O, I had no idea it wasn't the libra 1 that was being referred to in various places. (And I still don't get why kobo named an ereader after a brand of tampons
)
