Yes, that's a major selling-point for me. There are a bunch to choose from nowadays. One reason I enjoyed using Mantano Reader—whereas some e-reader apps gave you the look of text in a browser, Mantano's rendering "engine" made the text look like an actual book page. Hard to explain. Hopefully an app that's still in development nowadays has a good "engine" as well.

Excepting Kobo's own (abysmal) Android app. Really terrible software IMO.
I can see 'calibre' and 'Apprentice Alf' in my future again. I always found that 'Alf' plug-in difficult to install correctly. But I'll have to try again (unless there's some newer, easier-to-use solution for what he provides...I'm avoiding specifics as I don't know how the people who run the forums feel about the whole DRM topic).
