I exchanged my A1 multiple times. Each device had very bad warm lighting. Of course this doesn't mean there were no devices with better screens out there. I was just not able to get one

That poll would seem to indicate you’re overstating the issue. Yes several people had issues but a clear majority had zero issues.

I wouldn't say there was a massive problem with the A1, but the poll clearly shows a tendency. Personally I find roughly 40 % of Kobo A1 devices with some irregularity too much.
