This was definitely not clear. Your posts imply the metadata is being found when you do the download, but, they are not showing in the calibre interface after doing the actions I mentioned above. And your response after I posted the steps for downloading metadata actually said you followed the 9 steps. Which you could not have if no metadata was actually found. And I only posted those steps because there was an obvious disconnect in what you were seeing and what we thought you were seeing.

If you had said you that no metadata was being found in the first post, the questions asked by us would have been completely different.

The Wraith Royals: The Complete Trilogy (Failed metadata)"

Thank you for taking the time to help
From the logs, the connection to most of the sources is failing. That is something happening at your end, your ISP or something else blocking those sites. Or it could just be a very slow connection. I am surprised to see that you can't reach google. You could change the configuration of the Amazon sources to not use Google but to use Amazon directly or one of the other choices. I am having success with these sources from Australia.

For Fantastic Fiction, the site is reached but no results are found. When tried, I had the same results. Going to the Fantastic Fiction and doing the search, it does not find any books for "Arabella Black". Or for the title "The Wraith Royals: The Complete Trilogy". It is a newish book, so the latter is not that surprising, but, Goodreads shows several books from the same author, so the author missing is surprising. Unless her books are considered only on the Fantastic Fiction Adult site.

In any case, you need to sort out the connectivity issues. Diagnosing that remotely is difficult. The first thing to check is can you reach them by other means. If you can, you need to work out what is different about those connections. The simple are firewalls or proxies. Maybe your firewall/antivirus/antimalware is blocking calibre from accessing those sites. Beyond that, it gets harder and probably needs someone there to look.
