They'll try to convince you that weight is a useless metric for anticipating how it will subjectively feel to each individual's perceptual experience of holding the device. You simply can't know unless you've personally held it.
It's best not to use objective parameters for decision making at all because of inherent human subjectivity. Science!
And no one ever rationalizes the weaknesses of a product after they've purchased it to self-justify their decision making. We are all perfectly rational and logical at all times and any suggestion otherwise is a personal insult.
