If you want to keep the audio, you can generally purchase it for cheap through KU and then you do own if for good. Also, you can probably restore the purchase if you want, if you return the book to KU or quit, by calling CS and asking.

Might it be worthwhile to call them FIRST, before you delete anything? They might be able to rig it to work. You did already purchase the book, and you do have KU, so it's just a technicality that keeps it from working right now.
I'd call first, and try to make it work!
